Today's Adventure

Today my Mom and I went on a lovely walk with our dog, Sammy. We saw so many beautiful flowers along our walk.

This is called Chicory and it is a wild plant that was used by pioneers as a coffee substitute.

I will begin by saying that my Mother, Sister, and I have never written a blog before. The idea was the result of wanting to try more new things of any kind.  We are creating this blog purely for fun and as such our posts will most likely range from DIY projects and adventures we have to sewing projects and testing new recipes.
